My big park project.

I’ve been working on a park in challenge mode on Planet Coaster for a few months now. I wanted to create a massive theme park, with fully themed areas to the best of my ability at least, with a good mixture of dark rides, water rides, coasters. I’ve got the last area to do and then a couple of things to finish off across the park before I’ve finished. It’s the biggest planet coaster park I’ve started and actually got this far with. I’ve never shared any of my planet coaster creations before so I’m interested to see what people think. I might even upload the finished park to the workshop.

The first area is called Yorkton Village, the theme is that this area is a small village running a fairground/carnival, there’s always something to celebrate in Yorkton.


This is the entrance building, my first attempt at making an appropriately themed entrance. Nothing grand but money was limited at this point in the game.

Yorkton Carousel, a Venetian carousel, to your left as you enter. One of the first rides I built in this park.


Turn right as you enter and you will find Yorkton Railway Station 2, which takes you to the other end of Yorkton Village. Behind that is the Skyride which takes you to Cowboy County, the western themed area of the park.

Just behind that is the Yorkton Cafe.


And opposite the cafe is the Yorkton Airfield ride, with Station 1 of the Yorkton Railway in the background to the left.


Also in this area of the village is the vintage car ride, which takes you on a tour around the mining part of the village.

Inside the tunnel of the vintage car ride, looking at it now I could probably add a lot more to it.


Exit for Yorkton Village. Eventually I had enough money in game to expand and start a new themed area. This one being jungle/pirate/adventure themed. It’s called Wild Valley.

To the left of the entrance to Wild Valley you can see part of the flume ride, Pirate’s Plunge.

The path as you exit the plaza building, a boat from the Wild Valley River Ride can be seen in the back to the right.


Look left and you can see Pirate’s Plunge again.

Further up the path and to the left is Crocodile Combat Roll.


And to the right is Monkey Swinger (original name I know).


Further up the path splits off into 3, up the ramp you will find Pirate’s Plunge, Tropic Falls water coaster, Jungle Bug Junior coaster, a restaurant and a couple of shops. Turn right and you’ll find Station 1 of the Wild Valley River Ride, a relaxing boat ride which drops you off just outside Wild Valley. Straight ahead is another entrance.

Up the ramp and straight ahead is the creatively named Wild Restaurant, a family restaurant. Can see Tropic Falls peeking over the trees.


Up the ramp and to the left is Pirate’s Plunge, a log flume.

Behind the restaurant is Tropic Falls water coaster.


Another short indoor section, I must have liked these whilst building this area.


Various pirate/tropical theming throughout this ride.


Next to Tropic Falls is the Jungle Bug junior coaster.


The workshop came in handy when looking for animal animatronics.

Down the ramp next to Jungle Bug is another plaza area, with surprise water element for King Vulture.


Second entrance building, looks a bit funky, still getting used to how the temple pieces work.

That’s all ill upload for now as it’s far too late! I also need to take more screen shots. Hopefully these give you a good idea of what the park is like so far, I did try to get good screenshots but my skills aren’t amazing. Still got 3 more areas to show.

Thank you! I am getting there, I’ve learnt a lot during this build, and I’ve used so many rocks.

Edit: I forgot to say, most of the building are my own creation, but I did use a few pre made buildings and a couple from the workshop too in some areas. Generally speaking all the buildings associated with rides are my own creations, most of the shop buildings are mine and the pre mades/workshop downloads are mainly used for decoration/theming.

Cowboy County, I am not sure about this area, I feel some parts I’ve done well and others are a bit bland and baron.

Past the plaza area is the Rocky Quarry Express, took inspiration from Nemesis for this one and dug into the ground.

Path leading from the plaza, Rocky Quarry Rapids to the left, further up is Rocky Quarry Express.


Rocky Quarry Rapids, not my finest work. Haven’t fully got to grips with building rapids rides yet. Does have an indoor section with waterfalls though.


Further down the path it splits in two.

Turn right for the Hurricane Gyro Swing.


Turn left and you’ll fine Lasso Spin, with the Shotgun launched coaster station building behind.


Another plaza with Shotgun station building. This coaster features yet another short dark section. This is the part of this area which I need to work on and fill out a bit more.

You travel through a short shoot out scene before stopping for the launch.




Little bit of interaction with the rapids.


From this angle you can see Stampede on the right.


Continue past Hurricane to find a sort of high street area with a few shops, scenery and the Outlaw shooting dark ride.


Outlaw station building still needs some work. I think I spent so long on doing the inside that when it came to the outside I was burnt out and wanted to move on to something else.


The premise of this ride is that you are part of an outlaw gang, who comes into town, causes absolute chaos by shooting the place up, eventually being chased out of town by the law.

Thank you! No offence taken at all, my skills are nowhere near the level of some people out there and I know that. It’s been a lot of fun building this park, I’ve learnt a lot as I’ve gone on and tried to do something different with each area.

The next area I’ll be sharing is of Fantasy Kingdom, probably my favourite area of the park so far, also the biggest.

Sorry it’s been a while since I updated this thread. I got sidetracked playing Fallout 4 and with stuff going on in real life in general, but I’ve finally got around to taking some more screenshots.




Starting with a few shots of the Lakeside Cafe, built just outside the main entrance to Fantasy Kingdom where guests can dine on the lake in a relaxing setting.

Past that is the Flying Carpet disco.






To the left as you enter the area is Nagendra, a dragon themed b&m wing coaster.

Thank you! I think the fantasy area of my park is by far my favourite area. I’ll have to check out Matt’s stuff to see the similarities!


One last shot of Nagendra.


The path as you go past Nagendra and around the palace.


Behind the Palace on the right is the Royal Chairlift which takes you across the area and drops you off near a dark ride called Candy Trail.




Behind the palace is a teacups ride called Queen’s Afternoon Tea.


Across the path from where you exit Queen’s Afternoon Tea is a junior dragon coaster called Nagendra’s Child. A more family friendly version of Nagendra.

Next to those facilities is a star flyer called Fairy Flight.


Back tracking a bit now. Just past OG Nagendra a path splits off away from the palace towards a wooded area.



Down that way to the right is a ride called Witches Brew.


Further down and to the left is a family ride called Magic Twirl.


After that the path splits off again. Going left will take you towards Cowboy County, past a Mack spinning coaster called spell caster. Going right takes you to the top end of the area.


Second entrance from Cowboy County. More work to be done around this patch. Spell Caster entrance to the left.


What you see as you enter Fantasy Kingdom via Cowboy County. If you take the right pathway you will gradually see the palace emerge. At least that was the idea I was going for.

Spell Caster spinning coaster takes you on a somewhat disorienting ride through the woods where an evil witch is said to reside.


Pathway that runs along side Spell Caster and Nagendra’s Child.


Along this path is The Cauldron pub. Where guests can stop for a drink or some food.


Further up this path are some toilet facilities and small staff room.


Further up again the pathway splits. To the left takes you towards Fairy Flight and Nagendra’s Child. The path splitting off to the right features a gift shop, Royal Chairlift station and the Candy Trail dark ride.

And here we have Candy Trail.

Candy Trail queue line and building. This ride is loosely inspired by the Hansel and Gretal fairytale.


The first room of this dark ride takes you through a wood/forest setting littered with sweets along the way.





The second room is similar, with more sweet props and other things.



Room 3 is more of a gingerbread village kind of thing.
